The aim of the project

The "creation of a database KATASTAR ABANDONED MINES IN THE TERRITORY OF AP VOJVODINA" is done of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade for the purposes and according to the requirements of the Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources.

The main reason for making the Cadastre of abandoned mines on the territory of AP Vojvodina arose from the need to ensure safe and reliable data necessary for the application of the mining and geological research, given that the Regional Plan of the Republic of Serbia and the Regional Spatial Plan of AP Vojvodina planned to do 2020 make sure reclamation of the mine in national parks and other protected areas.

Given that there are not collected, systematized and structured data on the number, geographical location, status, condition, measures taken for rehabilitation and re-cultivation, the need arose for making adequate inventory of these so-called. "Black spots".

For all known abandoned mines on the territory of AP Vojvodina has recorded current status of abandoned mines, as a starting point for keeping records of abandoned mines / mines, planning funds for the implementation of the rehabilitation and re-cultivation and keeping records of rehabilitated and reclaimed mines, all in accordance with the Law on mining and geological research and defined priorities. The database is open to the actualization of registered attributes, as a complement to the facilities, which are not covered by existing display.
